I have recently installed new clutch plate+pressure plate + clutch bearing of FCC Japan but after using them for 10 days 1000 km to 1500,, the clute plate broke. I have used the car in city and around 5 times on moterway. Havent loaded any thing heavy.
kick your mechanic under the belt. This is case of wrong assembly after changing new parts.
the whole clucth kit was not slip locked over shaft splines but hammered to FIT/ SEAT .
@rajaatta, @babarhyd @margallar @SER_GTR @Xulfiqar
True boss. Mechanic ko jootay maro.
B****ed he hammered to seat up the locks of top shaft and result is broken clutch if the assembly was faulty then it would break in first clutch engagement. So this time it's not the faulty part but the faulty mechanic is the main cause.
If Part Is Genuine And Authentic Then Its Def Installers Fault..even 2no clutch won't fail like this..something Look very odd that it actually feel like it develop polio
this is result of pure ignorance and jahalat
I told him that its his fault but he said that it was the fault of the clutch itself. he said that some times this happens.
did you checked the shaft spline when transmission was dismantled after damage ?
no
After this case I have installed a new one. Please tell me thar where the clutch pedal should be adjusted as when I installed the clutch plate which is broken now was not working properly as the gears were jamming and I was forced to install a new clutch cylinder.
No, I went to that same mechinic again and he told me that everything else was fine
I also installed new FCC clutch and pressure set with genuine throwout bearing in my Honda Civic VTi 1.6 but after a month or so car started to vibrate while leaving clutch in first gear. Flywheel was also properly skimmed through a professional machinist. Car has been hardly driven 10k after clutch replacement.
Ok BTW why did you go for fcc ???Why don't you try the Aisin genuine JP pack.
FCC comes genuine in Honda. Aisin is OEM for Toyota.
FCC comes pre installed in honda city where as DK comes in Honda civic
FCC is Original Equipment manufacturer for Honda cars here in Pakistan. My 8th gen civic manual also had genuine FCC clutch when it was first time changed at 95k kms.
