dry weight of this model is 288kgs fuel consumption in city it gives around 5kms/ltr on highways around 8/9kms/ltr. Because of its heavy weight it gives comfortable and smooth ride and the plus point is out standing handling and road grip.

288kg :o sooo heavy !! But you are right more weight would help it give excellent road grip. You know when you are travelling on highways sometimes there is so strong winds that your bike starts. But if you are on a heavy bike like your Vmax then I guess this wouldnt be a problem.
