My City came with AGS lead acid. Lasted 4 years and replaced it with the same brand.

Also make sure you buy the right orientation battery
So that the terminals of your battery will be away from the firewall and they will not touch the top of your bonnet.

Daewoo maintenance free is the best, i have installed in my City car

I would recommend to go for either Daewoo or AGS. Prefer Maintenance free one!
