Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

OK guys... I got my car door dented and painted from Pak Suzuki North motors. They changed my car's CNG switch. I went today to complain but after all the excuses they just wont accept their mistake. So guys. Take my advice and avoid Suzuki North motors as much as you can.!!!!

Also give me some advice regarding who to complain now ?? I am thinking to search email of Suzuki motors and email them the issue.

Once friend of my brother went to some suzuki authorised dealer in lahore (dont remember the dealership name) for paint work. and guess what.... they changed the front screen of his alto. He complaint about it and they (dealership) refused to accept, that guy sent email to PSMC and after few days he got new windscreen changed from same dealership.
so better you reach for PSMC customer service.

Now coming to the main issue. Now since my residency has started, I have to do calls ( night duty every third day ). For this reason I have to let my car sit in car park which makes my car so insanely dusty that i can barely look though wind shield the next day. There is also construction going on which leads to extreme dusting.

What should be the best way to protect and maintain my car ??? Washing and waxing weekly is not enough because my car gets dusty just in one night. Would it be all right if I use Astonish Spray And Shine for frequent cleaning and shining ???

Hmmmmmm, that seems a viable option but I guess I would look pretty dumb covering my car in hospital parking. Might also attract some attention from guards.. Lol...

Seal it up nicely with an autofinnesse or wolfgang sealant and let it stay dirty. Don't cover up the car when dirty. Wash whenever you get the time at home with the double bucket method.
If you have less time- wash with turtle rinse free wash and wax. Do you live in north nazimabad too?

Yup, I live in Nazimabad behind Imtiaz superstore. For the time being I have Snap car shampoo, Turtle wax ZIP wash and wax concentrate and formula 1 shampoo. But I plan to buy Meguiar's Ultimate wax. It would act as a sealant too with a nice shine... Would that be a wise decision ??

Great.. I live near five star chowrangi.
Now- ultimate paste wax is the best wax offered by meguiars. It is very good quality and comes with an applicator pad and a mf towel too. I have it. It gives nice deep reflections and also slightly improves clarity in the paint. The wax is purely synthetic and the water beading it gives puts a smile on your face every time and you can dry the car with a single mf easily.
However it will only last three weeks max on a prepared surface and will also cost you a nice 3500rs.
In that much money you can buy an autofinnesse sealant at 3.5k too. This will last 4-6 months easily provided tou wash with shampoo.

The choice is yours. Although if you can wash and wax weekly, id suggest ultimate wax. Its available at optimum motorsports zamzama.

I don't intend to change the direction of this thread but in all honesty I am only mentioning it here since I would prefer fellow detailers get it before other PW members. Finished product
procedure goes as follows
washed
megs m205 on polishing pad.....megs da speed 3-4.
dodo juice acrylic spritz.
3m show car paste wax after 12 or so hours by hand
rims, lights, chrome grill along with emblems done with megs nxt 2.0 wax
trim detailed with megs ultimate protectant
glass done with megs ultimate quik detailer
lots of microfibers.
nothing done on tyres as I didn't want to
slow and steady work........took 3 days
enjoy..............don't forget to say MashaAllah

salam guyz.. so finally got time for my car. Washed with rinse free, thn i applied mothers synwax (liquid) and thn i applied megs gc..
picture was taken before gc was applied and cudn't take any pics after application of gc as it had gotten dark..
but loved the color enhancement after application of gc on synwax.. will take pic tomorrow after detailing wipe.. INSHA-ALLAH

Rims need some attention..
