With a 2013 City 1.3 Prosmatec Aspire, there seems to be some lagging or delay in transmission. The car would sometimes do not respond to the gear in D or R. One would have to bring it back to N or P, hit brake and re-try, just to have the car respond to acceleration.
Tried a few experts who shared the following possible concerns:
1) Tappet
2) Fuel Injectors
3) A choked Catalytic Converter
The first 2 were absolutely fine, however, the CC was indeed choked. Had it cleaned and now the issue is resolved. PFB video link to the cleaning activity:
