S808 and S810 overheats sometimes, Exynos 7420 is 14nm chip and does not overheat.

There is overheating protection system, so no worries about overheating. Just keep using the device until it gets so hot that it starts to lag! This is what manufacturers recommend.

Why do people think it overheats, i tell you the truth.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 have CPU in purple region which is close to power button where your hand naturally rests when you hold the phone.

Most other phones have CPU in green region near the camera, so people don't feel the heat, because its away from their hand resting position!

Galaxy S5, Note 4 and few others manufacturers also have similar design in some of their models, even all iPhones are same as this. However, the CPU near Camera is more appropriate position and most commonly used.

Most Motorolas have best design, its SOC is as big as phone body, so it gets more surface area to shed heat. They get equally warm everywhere, so it doesn't get uncomfortable to hold.

Honor 4C, P8 Lite, Lumia 550, 640 and 640XL also have exact same design as S6.

They are optimised for Super Amoled display, they show complete black background, but they do consume some little battery, but do try them.

happened with my nexus 5 as well. I cleared device cache partition and problem solved. Google how to clear ur device's cache partition

Brother! As I said earlier, I have cleared the cache but it didn't solved my problem.

One way or the other, its some bloatware or user installed app that causes these issues.

Did you try step 2 & 3? What were the results of step 3? Did the wakelock disappear? Did the phone get more faster in safe mode?

Do you see any apps frequently restarting again and again in settings > apps > running where it shows free RAM available?

Uninstall any apps on phone that claim to free RAM, increase performance or increase battery timings.

Haven't tried the safe mode yet. And there isn't any app restarting again and again in running apps.
Tried hibernating all apps in Greenify, and the problem of "sleeplessness" remains.

Also not using any battery saver like apps.

May be either Facebook app or messenger

It stays awake even if I hibernate all such apps.

Tried hibernating all apps in Greenify, and the problem of "sleeplessness" remains.

Also not using any battery saver like apps.

Don't buy from them , they are selling American versions and they are useless , try to find the local one , it would cost you around 11k in used and around 14 k new, to check if it's original it should be G530H and most of American phones are tempered in settings to show this model , to check it , then off phone and enter in download mode and in the upper left corner original model number will be written

Ok, good. Check wakelocks (insomnia) in safe mode too. Greenifying apps is just a temporary solution (sleeping pills), which may not always detect the issues.

Once the safe mode diagnosis is done, then i can guide further. It takes a bit effort, but its better than factory resetting the phone, which everybody suggests.

If wakelock stays even in safe mode, then your installed apps are working perfectly fine and its some system software, its settings, or bloatware related issue, that i will guide later.

Warranty starts right from the day of purchase when you use phone for the first time. Its 1 year from the date of purchase (date of first use). It has nothing to do with what's written on the warranty card!

Those are garbage. Refurbished with low quality parts!

Get a lumia 540 in ~11500/- brand new, its the latest price. VGA video recording though, but the still camera is better than any phone in this price.

Now i am 100% sure its related to phone software, because mostly its user installed app related. This is the benefit of safe mode! It distinguishes if the problem is with user installed apps or phone software.

1) Turn off all unnecessary features and make sure your phone software is updated to latest version.

2) Uninstall (disable) the unnecessary pre-installed apps.

3) Fully charge the phone at night and leave it as it is on standby. In the morning, lookup battery consumption stats (% power used and minutes CPU used) on Gsam battery monitor. Also show me those screenshots

4) You have to "clear cache" and "clear data" of top 5 apps shown in stats or whatever are consuming more resources. You don't need to clear cache or clear data of any user installed app, unless its consuming too much resources. Most probably, it will solve the issue, because i fix devices the same way.

Note: clearing data of any app will erase its related data, so backup data of that app if required.

5) if it still does not fix it, you may need to reinstall phone software using Odin. No data is lost in this process.

Yes i found the phone blinking fast in safe mode just like brand new.

Checked for the updates and found that its latest. Kindly mention which unnecessary features are you referring to?

Will check the Gsam overnight and share it tomorrow.
