Im Lahore based brother.

My point of view is to buy a brand new a bit old model over used newer model.
I refrain myself from buying used stuff.

Few months back my iphone 6s was giving me serious battery and memory issues. I was running low on budget and somewhat made up my mind to buy samsung A51 and i bought it.

Leaving the IOS and Android comparison aside, till date it has not encountered any issues. I could have bought used iphone 8 on that price tag but it would have been a gamble then.

Today i have almost decided to go for a box packed iphone may be iphone XR. Because fed up of the dhokas in this iphone business. Yesterday went to some mobile market for seeing some used sets and to learn how to identify repaired/ opened sets and today went to a person who was selling iphone 8 plus and claiming to be almost brand new and sealed set. Found the set to be repaired one and was not having true tone also the speaker grill was telling screen is not genuine.but still people waste ur time claiming that their iphone is genuine and sealed etc etc. I dont know why people do this thing and make all their earning haram.
The sets available in market, i am 100% sure all are somewhat repaired whatever the shopkeepers claim. Its only the buyer who detects it sooner or later.

Ok there is new situation now what u guys say to buy a New PTA approved 128gb iphone XR in around 118-120k or get a new iphone 12 in around 140k from USA and then wait for 2 months praying that PTA tax may get reduced and in worse case if it remains same than in 2months save 40k for tax payment
