Engine mount on timing/drivers side. It gets compressed causing the engine to rest on the body, and ultimately breaks completely. Typically does not last more than 2 years.
Secondly keep in mind the steering on all these cars gets worn out more than expected, possibly due to sunlight.
The rest are usual for all cars such as check if stickers near radiator are intact (to indicate front accident).. check there is no rust in radiator water...check if car goes straight to indicate problems with steering rack or rack ends. Drive a bit over rough roads to identify problems with shock mounts and suspension bushings...idle rpms...soot in exhaust...ac performance..smooth shifting auto with zero jerk...etc
