Guys, I have a 99 vti oriel..spent a lot of money on her but wont cross 140km/hr. Changed the fluids..plugs..filters...what not. Got it tuned multiple times from multiple places. Recently from Amjad Motr Xprts Isb. The car runs smooth but wont cross 140k mark 4 rpm. Car is on petrol and consumes alot as well, does 7 or 8km/ltr. Any suggestions?
Does it rev all the way to 7200 rpms in lower gears? Have you checked fuel pressure, changed fuel filter? What about engine compression, what are the figures there?
Bro it goes up to 6500 in N or P. In D it only reaches 4200. Fuel filter was changed. Currently getting engine compression and fuel pressure checked in isb. Lets see what these people do this time to the car.
Fuel filter changed. Only reaches 4200rpm in D or D3. Reaches 6500 in N or P. Came to isb again for fuel pressure nd engine compression check.
idle : 35-40 PSI WOT: 45 PSI
Test by gauge not by pressing the pipe with thumb.
Test Fuel pressure regulator too
Make sure you have compression above 180 PSI

honda service manual says
compression should be greater than 135 psi and some people says if compression across 4 cylinder is same or less than 10% variation it will work (good or bad depend on your compression reading ). my car engine had once compression of 120 across 4 cylinder but it used to accelerate very fast . but hilly areas mai mehsus hta tha k garri beth rahi hai ab

As per your statement your rpm dont goes above 6500 in "N" but it should lock upto 4000-4500 due to knock sensor but lets suppose your car lacks knock sensor but than it should touch the above 7000. Put her in D2 and observe the rpm max limit.

If your fuelling and compression test was satisfactory then may be you should look in to a ignition timing side of things.have you had any distributor issues present or past?
I was doubtful for the distributor therefore changed it recently but no good. Average cmng hardly 7km /ltr

U might have lost your compression or you're choking your exhaust. More than required back pressure results in poor efficiency. I myself faced rpm locking issues on a manual tranny, tried different things but none worked - changed the fuel rail along with injectors and a straight downpipe as an upgrade and the issue was resolved - o.OYours is an auto variant which was 4-forward for 6th gen right ? any problems you ever faced in gear shifting or gear oil pressure ?
Nahh bro gears work fine. I just need some reliable mechanic in isb who is literate enuff to know about all this.

So i dont understand what code u need bro? Clarify what assembly? Advancing timing tried no use. And engine compression according to honda is fine. Dont know what readings they got there.
