Wow, you are really off the mark with this one Zishawn. The Si version is a different entity.
They released the same models(showcased in the opening post) here in Dubai last year(as you can see from the pics I attached with my post). The only difference maybe is that Pakistan gets only EXi and VTi. Whereas we also have a LXi in Dubai alongside those two.
Given how another member provided statistics on production no.s of current civic model. It wouldn't be too hard to assume a new model is around the corner.
Although I agree that they're doing whatever possible to get rid of the 2005 inventory that might find itself losing value shortly afterwards a new models launch. A close family member was about to make a deal within the next week without the knowledge of a new model in existance. Dealers don't reveal that information to unwary customers it seems. Odd practice but that's business for you. Albeit it's in Pakistan so it was never really expected to be anything other than shoddy.
These pics I attached are from the official press release of Civic model that launched in Dubai. We have left-hand drive vehicles over here by the way so don't worry much. You can read the full press release of DUBAI launch over here.
Anyways, I'd go on a limb and predict the new car to be available in numbers around May/June. Anything before that wouldn't be short of a miracle I guess. And No, I won't complain if it does appear next month! Infact, I'll be the one first in line.
PS: I simply adore the new interior especially the Multiplex Meter(aka Digital Speedometer)
Try out this link for the UAE Honda Civic 2006 version. Pakistani models shouldn't be any different I suppose. Good insight before you purchase it(includes a strange 3D view) + color options and few more tid bits that might prove useful to potential buyers. Enjoy!
