Purchased new bike. Now its only 240 km ridden but tick tick noise started coming from 60km and now it has got worse and louder.. sometimes it goes away but then again comes back... irritates so much that even on new bike there is noise. Is it normal? or what? never heard this noise on any new cd 70 before. whats ur opinion is it tappets noise or timing chain noise? Should i get its tappets adjusted on 300km oil change?

Don't ride it hard during the break in period. These engines are sensitive during this period. Take it to Honda and get it checked out. Best case scenario tappets might need to get back into spec. Keep using Honda 10w30 oil. No need for 20w40 or 20w50.
I never took it to the speed more htan 40 change gears on 10,20 and 30.. even put it in 1st gear while going through speed bumps as its speed is under 10kmph.. Is 10w30 suitable in this weather?
Yes 10w30 works fine. After break in period if wallet allows you can switch to a semi or fully synthetic 10w30 meeting api sn or sp and jaso ma2 for extra protection and Shear stability otherwise 10w30 mineral is fine. Just change oil on time.
