is there any one running Se Saloon on CNG, please tell me about its performance on CNG. I shall be very thankfull to you.
i ve got cng installed in my se saloon since 2005 alhamdulliah no problems wotsoever, excellent performance. no pickup or long run issues , even dont feel power loss whilst goin to muree with AC on and 6 people on board. go for it.
its give 75km with in city with full time a/c am running se salloon 1.6 a/t
forgot to mention milage details gives around 170km with AC in city n up to 200KM long run. no kiding. the car is manual. n done almost 200,000 km on the odo.
Thanks for reply friends, some one told me that cng is not good for SE Saloon and it works better in XLI only. Lets see what other members say.
Is yours an auto or manual?
CNG performance depends on fitting and proper time to time maintainence. I'm running corolla altis a/t 2006 and civic exi a/t 2006. Both cars are running on CNG and I'm 101% satisfied with their performance. Both cars are giving 75+km in city with full time AC and 100+km on long routs with full time AC at 55kg cylinder.
@AkbarGr8its manual. Also please suggest me if i should go for 60kg cylinder or 55Kg, weight difference between both is around 15Kg.
having a manual means lesser problems relating to transmission (A/T tends to mess around on CNG), though i cannot advise you about its running since i have no experience of CNG, the lesser weight you put on the suspension the better it is (so yeah save those precious 15 kgs)
My friend has instaled in exi civic prosmatec running fine but he had togo for tunnig after every 15 days Hhahahah
