on sunday sngpl rep said that gas supply to cng stations wasn't turned on because foggy weather had caused gas pipes to burst (is it just me or do i begin to smell cow dung in the air).
now it's monday and after a group of customers almost manhandled an unlucky sngpl employee passing by a cng station he admitted that since the fog had been washed away by the recent rain his earlier explanation didn't apply any more. however, he wasn't able to give an explanation for why the supply was not turned on at most stations in lahore today (definitely smelling the cow dung now).
maybe it's time i started to share some of the dirty little secrets of why we have a natural gas "shortage" in pakistan. interested?
now i'm off to find the source of the cow dung smell; i'd like to buy some of those gobar cakes to use as fuel to fire my "country stove" of bricks placed in a "c" shape...
