CNG related problems

bro i was considering to install 4 tip spark plugs in my 1.3 lancer to increase the pick on cng,,,,, kindly ans my qs

1. which spark plugs to go for, and of which code???

2.when 4 tip spark plugs r installed , do i need to change the plug wires as well,,,,,, if yes,,, then which one???

3.at the end of the day , by how much percent will the pick increase???

actually kit and cylinder is same for both of efi and carburator cars, efi car needs adbanver n emulator to increase the curent and emulate it.n advancer can be installed in carburator cars also for increasing pick but as we have distributor to advance and retire in car, we can use tht and need of advancer is not necessery.

ur stock plugs displays some value on them , match tht value to buy new plugs and wire is same . but i suggest u tht first set ur car on stock devices and basic cng devices, wen ur car will be set, then extra steps can be takem to improve its performance.and wen u'll increase the currrent, a new chapter will be started to increase gas and air which is another enigma !as cng best performance is wen gas=air=current. and pick will be increased approximately 20 %.

best result for can requires gaas=air=current. wen we increase current, we also need to increase the amount of air and amount of gas, ..install plugs and wires and get gud result,it is something not like tht. so first set ur car on stock plugs and cng equipments, than install plugs so tht we cud know tht now as current is increased, now we hav to balance air..

Glad that somebody is giving advice without any charge.

I have been facing a problem with my car (Margalla Plus) working on CNG since quite a long time.

Whenever the car is running for more than 1 hr (not in winter), which means the temp needle is in the middle, my car loses power and engine stops. This extreme missing problem remains there as long as I switched from cng to petrol. The engine runs smoothly on petrol.

My mechanics suggested me to clean the cylinder and kit (he thought that there was oil in the cylinder). I serviced my car's cng cylinder and kit from a big cng workshop. The cng mechanic chnaged the diaphram and valve. That day the car runned properly but after 2 days the same problem started again.

Please advice me what to do?

and ur cars problem not seems to be very strange,i guess it happens when ur car's radiator fans turn on, it effects on idle speed of car as amperes are shared by fan, ur car stop ignited.. just advance ur car,and increase the idle speed from cng kit ! thts all,or ur car idle speed is to be control by standing rpm control and cng kit . not more than 5 minutes job. if this cant help, then further step are to be taken but after inspection of ur car.

Yes it happens when car's radiator fan turns on. Also I have noticed that if radiator fan is connected directly and not on auto, my car runs smoothly on cng as well.

Can I fix the problem according to your suggestion myself and how?

u know comparison b/w platz and vits? difference is just size,weight,shape of car, engine is same in both of cars.
my czn has platz 2005 a/t,and cng is installed on motorway , he got speed of 140-160 and milage of 150 min WITH OD and 5 persons and lugguage.just before 3 daz.and u can c the car as well, hes in islamabad.
as vits has more less wight and less mass on it, it runs quite more betterly on cng.
means CNG in VITZ is RECOMENDED.

i bought 2005 vitz and istalled cng kit(lendi renzo) in it now when i drive it 15 to 20 mins on cng its check engine light goes on i asked the guy who installed the kit he says it happens with vitz so can anyone tell me is this true ? does it harm engine or can i drive with it plz help

i noted milage only once when kit was installed it did 96 kms sometimes ac on not always

if u know abt engines a bit like where idle speed screw is, etc, yes u can do it, just open the hood, bring tools like screww driverwith u, attach handsfree with ur cell fone to free ur handsand call me at 0300-9878977, i think its most easy way

ur advancer is not fixed correctly, either fix it or change the advancer, i heared alot in lahore abt such 2 number advancer and lack of skill to install them. and sry to say but ur car is giving on 70-80 % avg.it shug giv u milage like 120-130 kms on locals with very lil ac on.and may be i'll come to lhr in this week, so u can show me ur car also there by urself

can you please advise me if i install CNG in city vario because i heared from many people CNG not work properly in this car

mostly ppl do not recommend cng in vario coz of engine capacity with aut transmission, but i think 70-80 % performance can be gain by cng in vario as compere to petrol.

if u r planning then change ur plan, joy is just ok shape wise(very lil ppl like tht)
as in tht price u can hav Vitz and not a single doubt abt performance of vitz,par,performance ets etc. joy is assembled in pakistan 1000 cc and previous model was foreign assembled, so i'll never suggest u joy.(due to local assembled,less mechanic,complicated engine,rare availibility of parts,costly mainitance,etc..cng is different department as in my view, among all 1000 cc cars, vitz has the best performance ,even better than santro coz of tht computer type(central sensitive computer) never listened abt any bad thing of vitz except low height,and tht is fixable.
so, defenately cng is not successfull in joy,then parts avlability, then expensive parts and maintinance etc joy is not recomended by any 1 except chevrolet's dealers
i'll suggest u to go for vitz and performance of vitz on cng is (y) by me, and if u'll buy vitz go fot one in which no cng is installed, install one by ur choice and urself. thnx
