Hello members
I have 1.3 GLI 2O13. It is manual. Driven 1 lac km. Proper tuning carried out routinely. Oil change and oil and air filters changed regularly. AC filter changed after every 2 oil changes. Engine oil used is Shell 5w40.
I am facing a unique problem and though i see some people have this issue but not at a single place i find a solution to this issue.
If AC is off, car works fine on Idle. It runs smooth. While braking there is no violent drop and then rise in RPM. It is all fine if AC is not running.
Now when we run AC, and car needs to be stopped by applying brakes the RPM drops to 600 and immediately goes upto 800. This causes wild shake and gives a bad driving sense. This only happens when car has run for some time. It worsens in heavy traffic.
Also note that if AC is off but the headlights are ON then this issue does not happen. It only happens on AC.
AC efficiency is perfect. Never got any repair on AC.
Now here is what i have tried but the issue is still as it has been.
I had got my throttle body cleaned and got the full tuning done including the manifold, exhaust etc. I ultimately even got my throttle body changed. It did not help.
I got my air sensors checked and cleaned. They are fine.
I even got my VVTi sensor changed. Still did not help.
Mechanic is now telling me that it could be tappet issue. I am not sure if i should go for it or not. I am not sure how AC would be related to that.
If anyone has faced this issue please come forward to guide me how you got it resolved.
I shall be very thankful.
Regards
