Hi guys,
So here's a DIY I did a few months back. One I'm really proud of.
Credit for the plexi-glass baffle board idea goes to madhouse. That was the thing that really inspired me to do this.
I had some extra chipboard lying at home after furniture work so I checked the recommended volume of my sub and built it accordingly.
Thanks to all the guys who helped me with their suggestions on the system on the thread below:

especially smartboy_am for explaining the dimensions to me and answering my other questions patiently
Marking the measurements, this was the piece of wood I had left over, fortunately my measurements somewhat made complete use of this slab for the enclosure.

I tired cutting it with a handsaw, but that was impossible

so took it to the carpenter's and had the pieces cut as per the markings

During the night, I put this together using some nails and German white glue. Apparently i'd marked some measurement incorrectly because of which i had to improvise a little with the extra pieces on the inside of each of the four corners, but because i was sincere
the pieces left over were perfect for this.

The enclosure coming into shape

sense of achievement

I then took it to Plaza to have it covered with fabric, i found really good black material and went for it since i didn't want to go with the grey that every enclosure in pakistan has.

Just putting the sub in the box to see how it would potentially look

This was a day of achievement, after looking for it a lot, i was finally able to score some Plexi Glass... I got it cut as per the measurements of the enclosure. Here is a picture of the plexi glass when i got it.. because I was excited:

Unfortunately, I couldn't take proper pictures after I got the sub installed in the enclosure because i just wanted to plug it and start playing. I do have a couple of shots from my camera in poor quality, will try uploading some more later.

The sub plays amazing and responsively giving me the bass which is perfectly suited to my needs and listening.. I really enjoyed this DIY. Let me know what you guys think..
