Sir D15B VTEC is short of torque.
F18A is a good choice but expensive and will drink more fuel.
F18B is not available.
H22A is one hungry beast, engine bay is too short for it and it will surely flex the chassis, again too expensive and no return on investment.
So as I said earlier, A16A1 is best for local conditions, overhauling is also very simple and it is one tough and reliable engine.
All other VTEC and large displacement incarnations from Prelude and Civic sounds very good to ears but they have 0 practicality.
