Family summer trip of Shogran, Naran, Babusar Top (1-6 Aug)

Friends, I am planning to visit Shogran, Siri, Paye, Naran, Saif ul Malook, Lalazar, Lulusar and Babusar Top next week. I want to leave from Lahore on coming Monday (1st Aug) morning and want to be back to Lahore latest by Saturday (6th Aug) evening. I would have my wife and three kids (10 year, 9 year, 5 year) with me. The transport is Daihatsu Boon 2013 (40K driven).
- First of all I want to know, is it good time and transport for this trip?
- What would be the rush situation (all non weekend days).
- Should I drive till Shogran or leave my car at Kiwai and take a jeep for Shogran, Siri and Paye?
- What is rent of standard room at Pine Park Hotel, Shogran?
- What is good and economical hotel at Naran?

as per one pakwheeler's recent visit to naran it is not really crowded during the week.. so yes your dates are good!

its preferable if you do not take your car till shogran... so yes get a jeep from kaghan/kiwai

rents are starting from 4000 to nearly 18000 a room per night in naran... pine park must be somewhere 8000 to 10000.. call them to confirm prices and make booking before you leave!

(demanchi, STC, Kunhar view) basically all hotels in naran main bazar are cheaper as compared to hotels on the lake road (which includes pine park, sayyam heights, maisonette, grey walls)

Ans: I just came back from Shogran and Naran. Shogran was ok but there was a rush situation at Naran, at night specially.

• Should I drive till Shogran or leave my car at Kiwai and take a jeep for Shogran, Siri and Paye?

Ans: Depends on you, your car can make it. But as you are with kids, jeep is a preferable option to be on the safe side.

• What is rent of standard room at Pine Park Hotel, Shogran?

Ans: It should be around 10,000 right now

• What is good and economical hotel at Naran?

Ans: There are many hotels in Naran Bazar subject to availability so i will not list down names. Just go around and be ready to bargain. A standard room is around 6000 to 8000 at the moment.

Brother, what about road condition and especially land sliding. Did you encounter any such issue?
I have chosen all non-weekend just to avoid rush and sky high rates. Do you think, on non-weekend days, situation would be much better?

PTDC ka bhi chance lia jasakta hai... rates isee price range mai milein ge ap ko wahan bhi

call kerke rates aur bookings ker lein.. you will avoid a lot of khwari

bass ap allah ka naam lein aur jaein kal... landslides, rush ka andaaza apko wahan ja ker hee hoga ..
do not make your self anxious thinking about the worst!
