Applied for my v2 thorough bank and it'll be delivered by this weekend IN SHA ALLAH. Can anyone plz share who got his v2 registered in islamabad that how much he had to pay for registration. The dealer said i'll have to pay 25,000 for advance tax as I am a filer. Will this amount be included in the registration cost I have to bear ? Shall really appreciate if someone can guide please. Thanks.

Just saw the advertisement in a newspaper this morning. Good initiative by FAW. My only observation is that if the vehicle is assembled here (CKD), shouldn't the import taxes be less than a Completely Built up Unit (CBU)? Resultantly, the price should also be lesser than the cars imported from China previously. Just a thought I had.

I think now you people will have to pay WHT tax too so i think the on road price will be even more than the imported units.. Right?

Saw a post from a dealer that local assembled v2 are for ready delivery, i think faw kashmir motors, so most probably u can get ready delivery..

Yes Price should Less after Local Assembly, but just look at the prices of Its Competitors HRL Zotye, Wagon R, New Cultus, and Suzuki Swift and all 1000cc JDMs, all are having price 12+ and it is expected that prices will further increase due to Rupee Depreciation, FAW was selling its CBU V2 at a very little margin, and only 3000-4000 (approx) vehicles were sold in last 3 years, now after local assembly little bit margin has increased but that too will go in Marketing and Branding Expenses, and you know there are Dealership and Spare Parts Dealerships Margins as well so I don''t think that Practically Company will reduce prices from this level.
But one thing is for sure, after local assembly while company will spend its additional margin into branding, marketing, enhancing Dealership network and spare parts availability so Number of units on roads will increase hence local market will start to accept it and Resale will also Go up. So I think after one year V2 Price is going to Rise.....

Bro as per my knowledge, If you buy a New car from dealership yourself, WHT has to be paid at the time of purchase in the invoice and then later on it can be adjusted in your Salary/Income Tax. If you apply through bank then it is the responsibility of bank to pay 25000Rs WHT and in that case Bank gets that adjusted in its own accounts automatically, Installment purchaser does not have to pay anything for WHT.
As WHT is Adjustable in your Salary Tax so if bank is asking WHT from you then make sure that they give u a Receipt so that you submit that receipt to your Employer and then that will adjust it into your salary tax. For Registration purpose ask from your dealer to show you a Previous receipt, if there is 25000 mentioned in that as Income Tax or WHT then you can pay it now and then claim it from your employer by showing the reciept or if you are business man you can adjust it into your income tax.

Yes for locally manufactured V2 its Mandatory to pay WHT if you buy Yourself, and if you Lease thru bank then its Banks responsibility to pay WHT.

So what will be the final road price for non filer including registration?

11,29000 is the pay-order price for non filer including vehicle price,WHT and freight for Multan.35-40k are registration charges.Booking time is 25-30 days in Multan.If you want to buy on own you will have to pay additional 25 k.These details are taken from FAW Multan motors.Final on road price becomes 11,70000 if u book one. Hope that it solves your query of on road price.

Brother I have been using FAW V2 since 9 months, Basically FAW V2 is an Urban Car designed for Clean Roads and Highway drive and for long journeys. Its Pick, Road Grip, Comfort, and braking is very good. Fuel average is also good on Long route.
On Rough Terrain like Rural areas you will Face only two issues 1- Dust Ingress issue on dusty roads,
2-slight Khar Khar sounds from plastic components but that is very easy to manage, for example you can block fresh air outlet duct of your car with a foam piece to stop dust ingress and install additional door rubbers to avoid dust ingress. Cleaning of AC filter is also very simple you can do it yourself once in a week.
Plastic components and rubber parts can be easily adjusted and tightened to remove khar khar sounds. after a few Kilometers.
AC performance of the Car is Awesome. and you never feel underpowered with 5 passengers on board and AC ON.
Road Clearance of this car is very good and you will not face touching of the Underbody on High speed brakers and pathholes.
Maintenance wise only routine inspection , Lube oil change and air filter cleaning. Gear Oil change on first inspection only. Baqi sab OK hai, spare parts like lights, bumpers wagera easily available hain shorwoom pe. Much better after sales as compared with Japanese cars
