Immobilizer is present in V2. I am not sure why Sajjad motors employees are saying that. I have a bad experience with them, so I don't go to them, didn't like the staff much. They are also selling other cars in their showroom, often have a WagonR or a Mehran parked there for sale. My friend bought a Mehran from them in 2015. They don't seem eager to sell the car and are pretty laid back for a 3S dealer.
Coming back to topic, the security LED on the right side that blinks when you don't insert the key is for immobilizer. When you insert the correct key, the blinking goes away and the car starts. If you get a duplicate key made from somewhere without the immobilizer coding, when you will insert it, the LED will start blinking at a higher rate and the car won't start. If you further want to verify, you can get an after market duplicate key made and try it yourself. On the V2 FB group, someone has already tried this and the car didn't start with the after market duplicate key. The factory provided duplicate key, however, has the immobilizer function and it will start the car.
