Bro if your vehicle is under warranty (as the case seems to me), then you have no other option other than to pour the engine oil which Atlas Honda recommends. I think, you cannot go for after market engine oil brands and grades, as long as your vehicle is under warranty, or you would like to have it. The day you will be pouring after market engine oil brand, your warranty may be voided.
Any 100% genuine & original engine oil from some reputed brand, with 5w-30 grade, fully synthetic, meeting latest API SN / SN Plus, and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria.
I doubt it. As told by reputed members many times, API SN, Fully synthetic Honda genuine oil 5w-30 is the same as Total Quartz 9000 Future series. It is neither ZIC nor Caltex Chevron.
Its a misconception here. Not each and every ZIC oil made and packaged here locally. Some is 100% fully imported and come packed from Korea (like ZIC A+ 5w-20), some grades are imported but packed here locally, and some grades are blended here locally, and also packed here locally.
Brother for high change intervals, you must also have large engine oil sumps. Pouring in long drain interval engine oil (01 year or 15-25,000 miles, whichever comes first) in merely 3.7L engine oil sump, and then driving for 10-15,000 Kms, or may be even more, will not be considered wise IMO.
I hope, this all helps. Thank you.
