Hy. My Honda city idsi 2008 was giving good average on long routes about 15-16kmpl. Recently I checked on telenor automate its showing about 8.5 kmpl. (45.5 km travelled in 5.6 Litrs). I'm worried what to do??
Try to calculate it manually; total distance covered divided by total fuel consumed (preferably in full tank).
I believe, manual calculation for fuel efficiency is the most reliable method.

Yes manual is best..i put all data in FUELIO everytime and its accurate..meters always show hypothetical values...total deception.
calculate manually. Auto stop tank full, reset trip meter. then drive 100-150kms. then again fill tank with auto stop. divide total kms by fuel refilled. reliable and best method.
My brand new city never exceeds 430kms/tank (in 33Litres) with AC in city. But your average is pretty much low. I heard iDSi model has more average.
