Being as not used to new tech so much, I am asking some questions which may consider some experts as childish but beleive me its for beginners & it can help many pakwheelers who feel shy /embaracement in asking
anyway, just want to ask you all experts that i dont have any hi-fi mobile, being salaried person, for me my hi fi is recently bought Nokia E6
for o/s i am not 100% sure but think it is called Symbian,version i donot know
so after seeing you all with modern gps navigator, i also get desire in my heart to get gps navigator in my ordinary mobile so asked many guys but none of them can teach from basics, what i understand, i am writing here, if wrong then correct it in steps
Step1: Download Garmin XT
It is software by which when install in your mobile, it will act as your gps nav. software
Query: from which website can i get latest version
Step2: Install Garmin XT
after downloadin in my memory card i will install application in my mobile, so where to install it in mobile /in memory card
Query: how to install, is it easy/ anyone can guide by written manual will be helpful
Step 3: Download Maps in your memory card
Query: which are websites to download this which have latest maps for Pakistan
what i understand is that by unzipping map files in your PC, it will create folder gmapprom
then transfer that folder to "Garmin" folder of your mobile
Step 4: Start Garmin
It will show all maps, then browse
Query: will the same software will show me speed, distance travelled, distance remaining to destination, what options it can display on screen, is it customizeable
Step 5: Handling Garmin with telephone service
Query: if on screen garmin is running, am i still able to make/rec. call, what is the method of minimizing it
Step 6: Voice guided Garmin/simple display map
Query: will same garmin software, what function it can provide like it will only display route/maps
can same software speaks(like gps navigator) that turn right after 2 kilometers etc..
please help me ,is these step right/ need modification, need any thing extra
