I won't get a chance to get back on the track until May, even then I'll have to get someone to take the snaps.... here's hoping
Never done the drag strip myself, i've always been knee down type of rider.
As for the litre bikes....I'm hopefully test riding the K7 1000 next week, I just love the way Suzuki's lay down the power and keep the handling true.
R1's have a setup more suited for the track and an aggressive riding position which will leave your wrists a bit sore.
Honda's are great bikes but they compensate for your mistakes and therefore you lose some thrills....build quality is the best on Honda's.
My choice is the Suzuki 1000 K7, with it's slipper clutch, hydrolic clutch, twin stub exhaust and switchable engine remapping on the fly.
Setting 1=120bhp at the rear wheel (for wet weather)
setting 2=150bhp at the rear wheel (for road use)
setting 3=180bhp at the rear wheel (fro track use)
I think I'd be stuck on setting 3 all the time
