Honda City 1.2 LS 2026 Dashboard/Steering Rattle - Found the Cause & Fix

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else.
I had an intermittent rattle that sounded like it was coming from behind the steering wheel or instrument cluster. The noise was most noticeable on uneven roads, and it was very difficult to pinpoint. The first Honda Lahore service center couldn't identify the source.
I then visited Honda Fort, where an experienced technician listened to my description, immediately suspected the trim, and applied anti-rattle foam tape around the driver-side A-pillar (roof trim along the windshield) where it meets the dashboard.
Result: The rattling disappeared immediately.
So if your Honda City has a dashboard or instrument-cluster rattle that seems to come from the driver's side, ask the technician to inspect the A-pillar trim and its contact with the dashboard before dismantling the dashboard or instrument cluster. A simple foam tape fix may solve the issue.
Hopefully this saves someone else from unnecessary disassembly and repeated workshop visits.

If you're facing the same issue check these marked trims they might be slightly loose. Fix these through your nearest dealer ship with the help of anti rattle fomic tape, I got mine fixed from honda fort Lahore.

Thanks. I have found the source of sound in my car . It sounds like coming from the silver patti between the ac vents on driving side. It looks like there are 2 separate sounds. One might be coming from the place identified by u.Will get it checked when i go for 5000 km service

It was quite a busy and congested place, I reached around 9:15 AM. Compared to Honda Lahore, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service at Honda Fort. A senior technician personally inspected my car, and the entire visit took only about 15–20 minutes. Overall, it was a quick and efficient experience despite the crowd. It is blessing if technician understand your issue at once.

Ok reporting live from honda show room in karachi. The showroom guy says the sound comes because the tracker installation guys open the panel. Did u get tracker installed?
