Honda City 2004 AC Throw Problem

Pls help anyone. My Honda City 2004 AC is not working properly. At Start the Throw and cooling both work fine at no.2 but after 30 mins or so AC throw reduces. then i have to shift the throw to no. 3 or 4 and it seems like AC is working fine but even at no.4; AC throw is low. and if i stop the car and wait for about 10 to 20 mins and then start the car; AC throw is again working fine for one or two hours and then again it goes down.

pls anyone can tell what is wrong with my car AC ?

pls note that AC cooling is always fine but its the throw which reduces by the time and i have to shut down the car for few minutes to get proper throw back.

evaporator could be clogged with dirt etc, else it could be a lil low on refrigerant, or faulty expansion valve, all these contribute towards forming ice in evap and reducing air flow drastically.

the clogged drain pipe also wont let water out of cooling box and making ice hence reducing air flow.

it could be low gas. I had similar issues, turned out the gas was low. Compressor would not trip, causing ice to form on the inner condenser that then restricts airflow.. Thus when you turn it off, the ice melts, then it works again until it the cycle repeats itself.

First, replace the ac filter if its clogged.

after that just turn the blower on, don't push the AC button, how does the airflow feel? change blower speeds, does airflow increases with blower speed? if it okay, then i think the evaporator is okay and donot require service. but if you feel that airflow is kinda restricted then get the evaporator services, which might require refilling of refrigerant etc.

after checking that get the both low/high pressure checking from reliable AC technician, if found out of range then adjust the refrigerant pressure accordingly...

The problem statement looks really shaky.. By throw he means wave of cooling.. As we know evaporator is either clogged or its not clogged it does not gets clogged variably like in few minutes.. So this is a clear symptom of block ac system, faulty expansion valve, as you mentioned
