Honda city 2016 AC noise problem

AoA dear friends,
i have honda city 2016 model. when i turn on ac on idle or on low rpm there is no issue at all, but when rpm is above two or i am on highway or motorway and when i turn on the ac, there is a very annoying sound appears. its like ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh lik seeti sound bit it disappears after 3 4 seconds. whenever ac trips and again turn on the sound appears again , so it is very disturbing.

So every city owner has this problem?
I went to honda city sales and they said its normal.
Kindly tell me that wjen u turn on the ac u actually feel it and u feel that ur engine power jas reduced and feel slight jerk??????
I had gli 2016 and i never felt ac turning on and off.

I have Honda City 2016, I'm facing same issue. It feels fine when car runs under 2000Rpm's . But, above 3000Rpm's it makes a "sssssssshhhhh" noice.

Same here on 2012 make. As long as the cooling is okay, wouldn't bother.

I have noticed that in my car as well. At around 60+ km/h that sound is audible. It is not loud but it is there. It is unusual for an AC to have such a sound. As I have two other cars and I have never heard such noise from their ACs but I guess it is normal for City's AC

i am also having same noise in my Honda City Aspire 1.5 2017
although it is audiable only in very quite environment yet noise is there
any body with the solution of it?

Is it the shhhhhhh noise when compressor turns on? If yes then it is normal for City. My Aspire 1.5 MT 2017 does the same

I have a 2016 1.3 AT. .There is a sssshhhhh sound when i turn the AC on but its there for like one sec and then gone....and no noticeable difference in engine performance. but i have noticed the sound on baleno, gli, old 1999/2007 city, cultus. so i thought it was normal.....

I have a Baleno but I have never noticed any such sound. It is very audible in City although only for a couple of seconds but it is there

Bro, don't worry its normal.its beauty of city AC.if u drove liana.its AC have same noise came as u mention in honda city.This technology came only honda city and liana..corrola or imported cars have this technology i don't know.so chill and enjoy ur ride......

Guys tht noise is of gas being circulated through ac unit.its normal in all of the cars.
