Honda City Aspire 2014 EPS light on

AoA Guys!
I recently purchased a honda city aspire manual 2014 model. A few days back I noticed that EPS warning sign, to the best of my knowledge, gets lit in instrument cluster when I switch on the car. It goes away after ignition. Do I need to have it checked? The steering working seems fine but a doubt has set in my heart and mind. Please advise

Once ignition is turned on all warning lights do light up. And after the car starts the warning light goes off then that's perfectly normal. If that is the case then it means no problem.

yes thats the case. The light oes off after starting the car
