Asalam o alikum Everybody!
My first post here, posting in pakwheels since long....
I'm a proud owner of a city I-DSI 2005, 160,000 km on the odo, going strong Alhamdulilah.
This car is a gem! Truly.
Need some advice from the experts here. Recently a water/coolant system pipe gave a leak, (which worried me a bit) anyway the stock coolant of the car leaked. Got it repaired and running it on distilled water for a couple of days.
I have bought Caltex coolant, but I need advice on the ratio of coolant to water(distilled). Usually what you hear is 50/50, however the manual of the car says 80/20 (80% being water). Even a few car parts vendors advice that using 2 bottles of caltax might be too much for the car.. and other weaker pipes may start to leak.
So I'm wondering if I should use 1 bottle of the coolant with water (which gives 75/25 ratio) or 2 bottles (which gives 50/50) as total capacity of car is 4 liters. Would appreciate good advice on this matter. As i dont want any other pipes giving leakage and coolant being wasted.
