Honda City I-DSI Manual 2007 vs 2008 and petrol average

Dear all, I am planning to buy Honda City I-DSI Manual 2007 or 2008 model. I have questions regarding this.
1) I have seen 2007 model mostly. Is both models are same in consumption of petrol and reliability?
2) What is the petrol average in karachi city?
3) V-TEC Steermatic vs I-DSI Manual petrol average?
If anyone selling Honda city idsi manual 2007 model in mint condition and I will prefer car with less than 100,000 mileage.

Model was changed to gm2 in 2009..2006-2008 were same.

Honda city Idsi 2006-2008 models are exactly same. They have the same engine(L12) same mechanical parts etc.
The 2006 idsi Honda city had a little pinkish shade in reverse light while 2007 and 2008 models had clear white reverse light

Honda Also offered a V-TEC Steermatic 1500 cc (L15 Engine) car and it was more powerful only offered in automatic/Steermatic transmission . It had 15 inch alloys,different cluster,fabric, buttons on steering wheel and a exhaust tip.

Even if you buy a 2003-2005 Honda City Idsi it also had the same engine and transmission without a catalytic converter.

Can you tell me V-TEC Steermatic vs I-DSI Manual petrol average?

I had a 2005 Idsi manual 80,000km driven and it gave me 14-15 km/ltr with in city and 18 on motorway travel
Then I sold it and bought a 2006 Idsi Vario(Auto/CVT transmission) 70,000km driven and it gave me 14km/liter with in city with AC and 16.5 on motorway.

I always wanted to buy a Vtec Steermatic but never got a chance. I have heard it also gives 13-14 km /liter fuel average in city but I am not sure about it.Many people have this car on Honda City fan club you can ask there
