Why dont you guys look at things this way:
Honda has got nothing to do with all these issues, its the corrupt Atlas and the government officials who have been protected these "spoiled brat" industrialists of our country. The same problem is being experienced with the car industry here. I am seeing the same lousy Suzuki models (such as Mehran, Bolan, Jeep etc.) since my childhood!
Things need to be revolutionized here, a boot needs to be shoved up the arses of the concerned parties and all sorts of trade protection should be removed from these industries, allowing imports, investment and therefore competition in this sector.
Yes, it will harm the local industry but for a short term. In the long term, it will provide more employment when more brands open assembly plants in Pakistan, more revenue will be generated for the government, cars and bikes will improve in quality and will become more affordable and if we keep our productivity high, Pakistan can assemble and export cars to Middle East & Africa.
Sadly, our corrupt bureaucrats fail to recognize these potential benefits and well being of Pakistan and its citizens and continue to protect this lousy, inefficient and over-charging industry.
So change your slogan from "No To Honda" to "No to Automobile Industry Protection" !
