If you believe what the sales guy or the dealer says then you should not be on this forum and listening to us. Coz he is giving you a sales pitch, and buy just looking at you he can decide what type of car you are going to buy. I have confused a many of car dealers, coz I look like a normal car buyer but when I open my mouth theres is shut, lol! Anyways, its not the matter of who is tough and who will last. I am sure both are capable in their own ways. Ppl who are not close to cities tend to go with traditions, and folks in the Cities want new things. So that is where the corolla and Civic sales are. Pls by my last statement I mean nothing, in no context at all. Just that where cars are sold and which ones.
So coming back to the point Civic and Corolla togather have moved up classes, one cannot be without the other, that is sort of the relationship they have.
Some one put it very nicely. Without Honda, Toyota would have been too conservative and without Toyota Honda would have been too crazy.
The Corona was killed by the bigger corolla/Civic class not the camry. Camry has been there since the 80's and Premio is not Corona, it is was certain trim level offered in Corolla, Corona, Camry and now has become a vehicle name in its own class. Corona was never competition for the accord, it was in class not very well defined by automobile makers. I can go on, but I am not here to lecture so I cut short.
