How honda city door locks work

Hi everyone,

I want to understand how these locks work. I have just bought a new city 1.3MT. My expectation was that as soon as a car starts moving, all the doors locks automatically and when it stops, all doors are unlocked or can be unlocked manually using the tab on the driver's/passengers door or using the button in ignition key.

What I have observed so far is, the doors are unlocked all the time as long as I don't lock them myself using the driver's door lock tab.

Please enlighten me on this subject.

It is its normal operation. You have to manually lock it while driving and unlock it when needed.

Central locking comes as a standard in City, but it does not mean they lock themselves.

You have to install a security system to lock them automatically.

All four doors can be locked via driver lock or the key (if you own aspire). Individual doors can be locked from inside but whenever you lock drivers door all doors are locked. If any door is open drivers lock will not latch neither the key lock will function. The fuel lid is also connected to door locks
