a lot of people say before buying an older suv always check if chassis number is not tempered or not or get it checked from someone expert or somewherei dont know any expert where to get it checked so i know its not tempered and body is not changed
the frame number location varies vehicle to vehicle. - in some cases it is under the front seat.some vehicles have that punched over either front / rear - left or right frame rail directly under the strut tower.
while the engine number is always over the block.please be specific when asking a question.,

The body has the vehicle ID number stamped on the body and chassis. If body is not changed then both numbers will be same.
Have it inspected by Excise.

like can i go to any excise and ask them to inspect this? will they do it? is there any paper that i can get that i had inspextion and its valid
I am not sure about that, but you can go to your nearest excise office and ask them. Alternatively, you can call their helpline.
