How warranty process works?

I have few questions regarding warranty offered by companies specifically by Honda. My questions are:

1. Do we need to follow maintenance schedule as provided by company?
2. What items are covered in the warranty claim?
3. Car insurance and warranty claim, are they related?
4. After markets modifications to the car will effect the warranty?
5. What if only tyres are changed on the first day of car delivery?
6. What is warranty claim procedure in case of Honda?

Regarding point 1 above, I heard that, for the case of Honda City maintenance of car is very costly and they don't accept warranty if you are not maintaining car as per their schedule.

What are the recommendation if you cannot maintain your car according to company's schedule?

Yes all 3S would want to follow the schedule religiously from them. If any thing is changed then relevant warranty is void.
If tyres are of same size then warranty of suspension is intact. You must maintain it from Honda else it would be difficult to claim , just in case.

1. yes, we have to strictly follow 3 inspections from any honda outlet at 1000, 5000 n 10000 kms
2. engine warranty and major parts of car body wear tear only, not accidental damages
3. no they are 2 different things. . .insurance is for accidental damage or theft. . .warranty is abnormal parts n wear tear
4. yes modification will violate warranty
5. changing tyres also violate warranty
6. you have to inform company with call and pics and visit the dealer that delievered u alongwith documents n authorized inspection log book

Exactly and in addition to the first point, you need to follow Periodic Maintenance from Honda Authorized Dealers as per your warranty booklet even after 1st 3 Free Inspections. All fluids must also be changed from Honda and no place else.

I have recently purchased a City Aspire 1.5 PT. I have drive it to 800 KM but its been 1.5 months since the time.
I am looking forward to tune it by honda dealer on 1000 km. However in their warranties booklet it is stated that " this coupun is valid for 1000 km or 1 month whichever comes first"
Since it been 1.5 month and 800 km will it rise any warranttee issue?

they will try to charge u extra due to late arrival but do not give them any. first 1000 kms inspection is absolutely free as they will not change oil nor filter. . .they will just look suspension and tyre threads !
