the major cons of this phone are non-removable battery, no memory card and end of life on jelly bean 4.2.2. otherwise this phone is great, I used this phone for approximately one year and then moved on to S3 and till now the experience is great.

On my usage, it lasts 16-20 hours but since i am mostly near comouter or charging point. I have never exhausted the battery.

My youmger brother has an S3 and Kashif has mentioned some good points but both are end for updates and all. I personally prefer this to S3 thats why I let him have the S3 because this looks better and has a better feel.

EOL has not reached for S3, still there are chances of kitkat
Also, many custom kitkat roms are alreafy there.

I really have bad experience with Custom Roms. Not saying that they are bad, but being CM9-10 user in Nexus S. It was a rocky patch. So I wouldn't dare it on S3 since it already have some problems such as USB connector.

But mera phone bikwa do so I can upgrade soon.

I had the One X, sold it last month. Splendid device, my only complaint was the battery life.

I really have bad experience with Custom Roms. Not saying that they are bad, but being CM9-10 user in Nexus S. It was a rocky patch. So I wouldn't dare it on S3 since it already have some problems such as USB connector.

Custom Roms are more durable and light weight as compare to official, as they are made to be more optimised for performance.
But I agree that having problem with usb connector, you can be left with a dead brick in case of failure.
