Car-AC were using too much fuel. As they said. Let see further, but for the time being i'm satisfied that there is no any major problem. But I will still keep an eye on it. let see .

Congratulations, it would be a good thing for all the santro owners

CNG crises in the country has raised the Santro value, people cannot afford to buy EFI cultus therefore they are moving towards santro and other small efi cars..i know 2 men personally who sold Suzuki alto in very good condition and bought Santro as replacement !

Hey everyone. Hope u guys r enjoying Santro. Just wanted a quick opinion. My insurance renewal is due for Santro club gv 2009 model. How much do you all think should I keep its insured value. Sugestions would be helpful. Currently its insured at 6 lac.

I recently got korean fog light on santro front bumber, i realized whenever i turn it ON at night along with main head lights I hear slight increase sound of car generator sound, is it OK? or its error and should be fixed with electrician?

Depends on the rate on insurance you are getting and who will eventually bear the cost of insurance (presume, you'll pay from your own pocket). 600K isn't the market price for a well maintained santro, I sold my 2006 santro well above 600K just a week ago, so I assume, your car should fetch you somewhere around 750ish based on condition.

Another query ... I got my santro few months back and i was told by mechanic that it is without thermostate value and he suggested to keep it as it is since summer season is going on... so now winter is approaching i think i should have thermostate valve in my santro within a month but mechanic says .. ap ki gari purani hay ..rehnay daen heatup hu ge :S

honestly i can't understand his point those who designed the car were not stupid .. there must be some purpose of this valve in the engine.. what do you guys suggest ?

I never heard any generator sound from my car maybe the bearing of generator is weak due to which u could hear it. U should check it with an electrition he might be able to guide u better...

He is not able to explain clearly. He is trying to say that when he turn the fogs, the rpm increases a little bit..
Its normal cuz the sensor senses the flow of current and increases the rpm a little to generate more current..

Thanks iamadee i will soon get genion thermostate valve for my santro, any idea about its price? Yes, brother aqibasit you are right it seems like load on generator increases a little bit when i turns it on .. one of my friends suggested me to confirm whether electrician has used cutouts while installing new lights or not, according to him cutouts decrease loads on genetors etc...

Ok i have been using these korean fog lights for last 2 weeks.. their chrome are awesome and they looks great but i am not happy with the strength of light they produce , should i try HD light inside these fog chrome.. i want HD light to fall on road do not want them to fall into other peoples eyes... !

I have been recommended by a friend to use pakwheels for any information required in terms of a car electrical mechanical or any problems being faced.

I am facing problems with my santro fog lights. i installed them a month back and just after 2 weeks the chrome inside along with the front mirror got burnt due to heat from the bulb, later figured out that it was due to a loose connection with the battery terminal which was heating up the wires and the bulbs .
now i have installed replaced fog lights with all wiring double checked for loose ends and replaced 55W bulbs with 100W bulbs for more output but i am seeing the fog light mirror getting dull again? kindly suggest a solution in this regard and ill be highly obliged.

First of all, all these chinese or so called korean fog lights are hope less. Plus you should always use bulbs of lesser watts in these since there chrome cant bear much heat....
