Although it was short notice and I had to leave early, but as usual it was good fun joining the IJC gang for some off-roading.
Only 6 vehicles turned up because of the short notice. Although did see 2 more 4X4s heading for the track on my way back.
My usual partner in crime Redbull_AR deserted me (for the comfort of watching TV during Ramazan)
@Redbull_AR, it wasn’t even almost there this time, the surface was all lose grit and had very poor traction. I did make a speedy run and ended with one wheel hanging high in the air. It was a good photo opportunity, so I just paused there for couple of minutes for maximum snapping opportunity!
@raohamid, well lwb does make a difference, off-course it adds stability, but it bottoms out in the middle on all high ridges, mostly we had been doing dirt tracks, so apart from once when I needed a pull as it completely bottomed out in the middle with all four wheels hanging in the air, mostly I just scrape through (I shudder at the thought of doing that in rocky/ stony terrain). This can obviously be sorted by a lift and bigger tyres. Also turning angle is sometimes more difficult in narrower tracks. But overall if you plan ahead, most of it is easily manageable B-).
@Blackop, bhai aftari ka tau bohat waqat guzar gaya tha, magar hazam karnay ka time bhee tau dou!!
Nice pics by all, especially Spidy. I didn’t not take many because of limited time (the pics of my ride were taken by Sansyed from my camera, thnx) anyway here they are starting with my favourite one from this event
And finally, Shabab, I see too much black smoke around your Safari!!!
Thats my lot.
