It gives great milage. I remember mine used to give like 9 or 10 kilomer to a liter. I think they are very durable. Not sure if they are that reliable as British cars have historically had electrical issues, but nothing thats not fixable.
If you like uncomfortable driving position, poor handling, and unfriendly egronomics, but a fantastic off road machine, then go for it.
By the time I was done with mine, it was simply superb.
However one little incident turned me off and I sold it.
Maybe not the greatest of decision given the time, money and heart I put in to it. I still miss it, as just by its size and shape, it commanded tremendous respect on the road.
I am now a convert and love the Jap 4x4s. The Toyotas and the Nissans and even Suzuki are simply awesome.
They have everything, comfort, reliability and durability and of course resale value as well.
