Bilalahm, the GTti was definitely more fun than the civic. The only reason I sold it and switched to a civic is because I realized there is no way a GTti can beat a turbo civic. But given an opportunity and resources I would love to keep another GTti, provided its as good as my old one

9BL, thank you for appreciating my ride(s)! I have the dump valve on this car, but maybe the sound that you are referring to is actually of the dump tube of the external wastegate. Usually people hook it up to the main exhaust pipe, but I have left it open just below the engine. For the fuel consumption, just read the previous post and you’ll get your answer!
Kingkhan, my basic fuel is the ‘hi-octane’ you get here in local fuel stations. Then I use some octane boosters, available commercially. When racing, I use a secret ingredient (hoping you won’t ask) to raise the octane rate and so minimize pinging and detonation.
