So hisense technician came today and replaced the cooling coil/evaporator and recharged the gas and now AC's performance is as good as new!

Went to the market, apparently there are multiple versions of Pular. One shop had plain looking one with only Gree logo, other had "Pular Plus" silk screened on top-left - this one has H2 in model number, compared to first shop, which was H1. I also saw a Gree booklet so looked into it, it lists a third version with "Glossy" finish, verses the two I saw today which were both Matte. As usual None of the Sales guy had any idea about the differences except for "Sir ye latest maadel hai".

Ecostar is assembling Gree ACs with whatever parts they get their hands on. So you are seeing these oddly odd maadels.

Apparently it is also twin rotary, just like TCL Miracle.

So, on paper both should be pretty good.

Is it different/better than all the junk in 1.5 ton category?

Is the installation clean i.e. pipes are properly organized and taped? How much does he charge?

I did some research and found that pular is new name of cosy series and it is with normal condenser. The expensive one fairy series is with double condenser. Its 1.5 ton outdoor is bigger than 2 ton. Large condenser means quick heat exchanges and fast cooling or heating.

I do not remember the charges but 500 above market average installation charges last year. Workmanship was excellent and done by the book i.e. vacuuming lines, insulation of lines and proper guage electric wires. They have all the supplies you have to tell them first what you have and what is needed. In my case I already had every essential.
Got 2 new installed, 1 complete service & 1 AC was relocated. Took them 2 days to do the job.

These days in market ppl are charging 2500 including bracket or stand for outdoor. These are charges for new installation.

Dawlance T3 Is Also Huge And Had Good Indoor Unit...In 1.5 Ton Series. Its Bang For A Buck ,

Its R32 But Comes With 2 Yrs Parts Warranty So R32 Will Be Available By Then anyways As Haier Is Already Selling Many Units With R32 Already...

R32 Is Single Refrigerant Like R22 Not Like Blend Of 2 Gases Like R410A So Thats A Relief. Due To Its Nature Friendly Feature. It Charge Less Than Others.. ( 750gm Compared To 1kg Appx For R410 Or R22)

Working Pressure Same As R410A.. Its More Efficient Than R410A And Carry High Discharge Temp Is The Only Drawback....
