This was my second expedition with IJC. This time I decided to attend as a passenger/observer in the interest of gaining more experience on how to tackle different kinds of tracks. So I accompanied a friend Bilal in his white BJ70 and also took on the responsibility to dispense whatever little navigational advice I could. Even though navigating is fun its not as much as driving yourself. But on the bright side I got to experience tracks I would not have tried had I been driving and now at least have a better understanding of what needs to be used/done when.
My concern from last time of the event not being regulated enough was addressed very well this time as Aamir bhai and Rizwan bhai both made sure to guide each driver while attempting a particular track. Aamir bhai also discouraged the new comers from attempting the more difficult and some even dangerous tracks. So I was very pleased with the way the event was managed and am already looking forward to the next one.
We left slightly early so did not get to see what was done after the tube track. But apart from the off roading I do hope people generously donated towards Dr. Ehsan Kiyani's led IJC Hathian project which I think is a very noble cause. The best part is you can be certain each and every cent you donate reaches the needy with no overheads of the organization running the project as all participants involved are volunteers.
