@Ammir bhai Good idea ! After all bhagnay tou paray ga sarey IJC club sey bach kay...warna apna track bana dey gey saray .....
I also offered Jehangir for repair of his jeep.
@ ammir bhai hoping that he makes the right choice.
pir suhawa via shahdra, ... is it finalized now,
how difficult a track it is, does it require pure etreme offrading, or can be managed with just some smart non dangerous offroading...
would appreciate clarification.
Hello all, found some pics of a trek Omer and I did in May 2005. We walked from Pir Sohawa to Pharila, overnighted at the CDA resthouse, leaving next morning for Lora, in the valley below Ghoragali. It was HOT, and we got back home suffering mild heat exhaustion.
Nice to see omer ali khan in the picture.
Well brother u need to have 4x4 offroading machine with 4x4 in perfect condition.
There r two patches where u require 4x4 low.
Rest that track is very beautiful.
Hope fully u will like that track.
We dont recommend 4x4's without 4x4 driving shafts or without 4x4 gear special gear.
Rather one must bring perfect 4x4's.
met offroad and told him about the 17th event. He said he will try his best to make it..
@Omer babloooo... this is Shehzad who r u, where have u been????
Hi guys, I did this track few months back, that is why I suggested it. I did it on a Toyota Surf, so if the surf can take those turns any 4x4 can take those turns, and yes they are sharp. It is a very steep climb so a vehicle without a 4x4 can not do it for sure.I had another diplomat in a mitsubishi exceed on my tail who freaked out on the way and a friend of mine had to drive his vehicle. from shahdara to the top it is less than an hour. there is a thick pine forest on the top where you must stop for picnic.
@All Romano in one post after recce has mentioned quote "NOT DO ABLE BY LARGER JEEPS.NO 5 DOOR 4wds PLEASE". Because of the tight corners & bends.I have a 110 Defender notorious for thier large turning radius, as I will be making a 7 hour two way trip to Islamabad to join you guys, I want to be sure that its not futile. @Jeepaholic do you think a 110 would be able to fit in ?
JKB, I have only done the track on Rocky, Samurai and Pajero 3 door and it was tight. Park yr Landie here and hop into one of the smaller vehicles. Make it memorable, not miserable
Its no problem for a landy 110, cmon buddy its a landrover. There were no double or triple turns on a surf so I pushed that beast V6 all in one go.
@jbk that track goes ahead to Haripur, so you can continue your journey onwards to Mansehra.
so how many cars coming
@jeepaholic you are coming right???
@amir bhai count haseeb in... and i also talked to fahad (offroad) he said there are some chances that he might come but its not confirm yet
@spiderman I am 280 kms away so lets hope for the best.
@All thanks guys @Jeepaholic its great idea taking the track to Haripur onwards thats what I have in mind as well all I'll need is a little directions from you guys. Is it the one that goes to Khanpur or the one branching off to Lora?I am in InshAllah, hope bring along a couple of friends as well.
i have no jeep but wana 2 join u ppl:s
When we last did that track we had mercedes jeep, Land rover n other long chasis jeeps also
The only problem we had was with the one without 4x4 shaft.
So we again request u all to bring only those jeeps which r in perfect condition. Specially 4x4's in working condition.Thanx
