Hello everyone. I just bought a 1.5 jdm mitsubishi lancer with cvt gear box. I am facing two issues with it.
There is a jerk while shifting between gears. I got the transmission fluid changed, and used genuine Mitsubishi cvt j1 fluid. Also used the exact method to change the fluid, as mentioned in the owner’s manual, but the jerk is still there.
Engine checklight is there. The scanner gives error related to insufficient egr valve. I got the egr system cleaned and egr valve is working fine. Now, the electritian is saying that the issue is with the ecu and I should get that repaired. But I am a little reluctant in getting ecu repaired.
Also can anyone suggest me a good mechanic and electritian in lahore for Mitsubishi Lancer. I went to Imdad, who is quite famous lancer mechanic, but found him very annoying. I will be very thankful for any guidence.
