Jerks at low rpm in first gear

ive got the same prob at times,my car is tuned,my gen is weak hence the low rpm idling n jerks at times on low revs when i give load to the gen

A Weak Spark Or Timing Can Be Responsible For it.....But Who KNOWS Its A WEAK Grounding.....

Can Also Be Spark Plug And TPS...But Since You Don't Have Adjustable TPS So It Can Most Like Be Related To Timing Spark ...

Cleaning MAF Sensor Might Also Solve This.....!!

Additional Ground Wires Always Help Inn Just Make Sure You Put Them Correctly And Use Some good Quality Copper Wires Instead Of Fancy Stuff

My starlet also gives jerks at low rpm. its seems like it has stage1 clutch in it

I have noticed when i start my car in the morning the RPMS are up to 1100. In that position it doest jerks when come back to normal after heating My Rpms are about 700 to 750 on idle and then it jerks in first gear only. Should i Increase it's to 850 to 900? Will it solve the problem.?? Thanks

jehanzeb bhai i also hav xli 06 which has 2nzfe and prob of jerks in 3rd or 2nd gear only whn i release accelerator it strts light jerks not that much until i press clutch or pree accelerator again, this is very annoying i always press clutch to dirve it smothly, wt u did for that sort of prob, else my car is stock and very much perfetc.

i suggest that only 7th gen civic owners who have this problem mention it here, as its relevant to the poster.

with my civic, is i start marching at higher rpm, i-e lift the clutch at 1500+ rpm, the car does not vibrate... same as @bilal_y3k

Will try today by adjusting the RPMS at 850 to 900 range. Will share my experience after that. I am hope it works. If it works. I have complete detailed answer for it..

This problem is mostly related to throttle body especially if RPM goes up & stays there for some time when you press the clutch. Servicing the throttle body usually resolves this issue. However if it still remains unsolved then the problem could be with Inner side of Axles that are connected to the gear box. Don't know the exact technical name but if there is a play in "inner cross of goda" than same thing happens. You should follow the below steps one by one:

1- Get the throttle body serviced thoroughly, RPM adjusted, general tuning & sensor cleaning.
2- Go to a wheel alignment shop & ask him to check Axles (both outer & inner sides of left & right axles)
3- If everything is OK & engine mounting is also OK, then the clutch plate & pressure plate needs adjustment or replacement.

everybody's welcome to read but it isnt trail and error section for noobies to respond if you dont know - already its difficult answering abt a car which YOU DIDNT TEST DRIVe and itspretty obvious anyone asking a question isnt a pro in explaining it so the answer may end up shooting in the dark

Ya'll please check your plug gaps first, timing second, CNG tune-up third, tappets/ valve clearances fourth
Go in this order.

You should have advancer installed (should!).

Keep plug gaps+timing+tappets/valve clearances on factory spec! (don't go for the ustaad recommended 'cng' specs)

i had same problem, mine turned out to be faulty MAF sensor. my spark plugs got carbon in 5 minutes just after cleaning them.
i additionally cleaned throttle body, spark plugs, fuel filter. fuel filter had alot of dirt (MUD) in it. my caf is now fine mashAllah!

previously things i tried was (Which didnt work)
tps calibration, tappet valve adjustment, throttle valve adjustment, replaced IACV, timming adjustment (retard /advance both).

bro to be honest im not sure but as farukh suggested it can be weak ground plugs etc... in my case its the weak alternator

It could be a dead clutch symptom as well.

Guys I have figured out the problem with my Honda Civic. I went to Honda Fort. I asked them the main reason for car's this behaviour. They checked each n everything. Until they found LOW fuel pressure. It should be 40 bar. But mine was 30 bar. Then they recommended that electronic pump motor should be changed told me that there is no warranty if car still behaves in that manner after changing. as it is revolving slow and cannot supply enough pressure That they all told me. Then I came back and discussed with my Mechanic. He said we can try it out with a used electronic pump motor which he has. He changed the motor. After the first Start-up the car was behaving that it got some extra power in it. Then we try on very low and high rpm in every gear. The car was responding as it should. No jerks at all. I m loving it. Mashallah! Hope other ppl also got there problem solved

congrats bro....i guess your car was giving problem only on petrol... i m experiencing jerks on both petrol n cng!!

well i m facing a problem in my 7th gen civic exi...the car gives quite noticeable jerks when at low rpm or idle speed esp. in first gear...as soon as i press the clutch,its all smooth again....what should be the cause of it???

P.s gear shifts are smooth
