Ke70 engine swap

Hi guys im going to swap a 3sgte into my ke70 can anyone guide me about the prices of a 4th gen 3sgte with 6 speed manual,2 way limited slip differential and an electric power steering im thinking of getting all this setup from peshawar shoba so peshawaris get to work also has anybody ever installed an electric power steering in a 1982 corolla if so how successful was it

not even a single 3sgte 4rth gen in shoba ! only 1 2nd gen is availble price is 1 lac and condition is the worst ! cut wiring , everything damaged ! contact khursheee ustad in peshawar he will import it for u and he wil demand above 140k ! best of luck ! have used eps n my 86 it was sweet ! from where i bought the eps the guy told me a 82 owner took it 4 days ago and its working fine in his car ! thats why i bought it ! recent price 7-8k for eps ! i bought it in 6k i think ! about 2 years ago 6 months ago it had some issues so called up for recent prices heard the prices so went for a repair ! now its not so sweet so will be changing it soon when i get some budget for it ! i hope iv helped u

well brother it's kpk if its not there then it must be somewhere else but it will be,I got my self a 1jz sometime ago for toyota crown it was in extreme condition and got it cheap too and it was not in shoba but somewhere else my mech set me up with it and it was legal,so it's a matter of your backdoor channels

yeah I know they are good with sr20det's but I heard you have to import order parts for it so even if I need an air filter I would have to pay double or triple for it considering a toyota part also do you have any idea how much will it cost me with engine and transmission?

need a turbo as in stock,running on dad's cash not my own,so everything has to be done on the spot

all lame tales,get a cone filter instead if you face such problem there is a thread in diy section named as''ke70 2 tone'' or somthing like that.see that.
else oil filter and regular mntainance parts are available.
yeah its a rare motor having expensive parts but its way better for ke70 than 1j or other toyota motor else you know toyota parts are cheaply available.
if you want power which is bearable too and want an economical swap too,put in a 1jzge.won't cost you more than 80k(engine).

I know about that thread but if 3sgte is not happening then I may have to go the long way of getting a 1jzte it needs a lot of work from changing suspension to new brakes people say cutting the car is bad but for me it really doesn't matter muchunless the car splits in two ,Btw I got a 1jz for my crown for 50k complete with everything

1jzge and 1jzte produce 200 to 280 hp respectively and are damn heavy some where around 300kg which will ruin the suspension no doubt and stopping a car that has additional 300 kg along with 1000kg(ke70 weight) and 200hp base power is not a play thing people died because of these engines even here in Pakistan

KE70 is around 850 Kg and not 1000KG. Also fitting such a huge engine will not be that easy.

even a sr20vet will be better then a 1jzgte. but like the sr20det theyr rare. however 280ps fron a very lightweight engine compared to the 1jz will be best for a ke70. also fitting a 1jz will require cutting the firewall

the s15 version of sr20det produce 245hp with a six speed manual and I heard s15 is problematic andthat's the last thing I need from a marketless engine also I doubt s15 would be available in pakistan

if you can put a 1jz farther back it makes it a balanced car and wouldn't need to cut the firewall also what tranny is going to be used with a sr20det just in case

@immad100 it makes the car mid engined like a ferrari or lambo but this is in the front mid its great for traction and it it doesn't disturb the balance of the car simple

ummmm no its deffinity gonna have an effect on ur traction and control. and even pushing the 1j as far in the back as possible will mean itl hardly clear the firewall. Meaning its still a heavy engine upfront.

and the sr20vet makes 280ps. the engine comes in the xtrail gt. and yes its rare but iv not seen much cases of problems on their forums.
