I have a liana rxi and when i turn left its makes a sound like a click and i alr had replaced my old axles due to the same reason and its happening again can some one please tell what should i do and how to keep it from happening again

Hi to all Liana owners, I just bought my first Liana 2009 LXI VURV 1.3 MT. Its 150k on odometer and car is very well taken care of. The previous owner overhauled the engine recently and had the thermostat not installed. (He told he had to run it without thermostat for a while after overhaul). I got the OEM thermostat and went to a well known mech. for installation. Since M13A has thermostat in a wierd place, they had to remove the intake manifold.

The PROBLEM is, the thermostat doesn't open and the water doesn't regulate. The upper hose is HOT and lower is cold. The Auto radiator fan spins every few minutes but the engine temp guage remains just under the middle mark (40% i'd say). I replaced 2-3 thermostats to see if any works but no success.
Just to be careful, I flushed the radiator and double checked the heater area to ensure nothing is clogged. (SInce it runs just fine without thermostat, only with higher RPMs and ore fuel) I guess the water loop is functional and blockage etc can be ruled out.

Can someone please suggest what could be the issue?

Burp the cooling system and get the air out. Warm the car up with radiator cap removed until the thermostat opens, and then fill up.

The Issue was fixes after three thermostats, a lot of assemble, disassemble cycles and a broken coil during the process. Works fine now, aside from some suspension work that I need to get done. Been thinking about rafiq auto, chour chowk RWP.

So I tnink I will share my recent adventure with my Liana. I had been experiencing coolant loss to the expansion reservoir since a very long time. The mechanics, and Suzuki dealerships couldn't figure out the issue.

Despite my insisting that they check all cooling system pipes, they wouldn't and insisted that the head needed to be opened. I was open to the idea, but I kept insisting on pressure testing the cooling system, compression test etc.

None has the cooling system pressurizer, so I made one at home with a bicycle pump and some McGyver style shyte. Turns out the system was losing pressure.

Then I added flourescent water soluble yellow color to coolant and ran the car for about 50-60 Kms. I then checked visually with an ultraviolet torch, and fund coolant seeping through the joint of water jacket.

Next job is to fix that leak. It is a real pain to get ANY thing done in out country.

Tell me about it. I was having an issue with my transmission for a long period and the mechanic who had performed the manual to auto transmission swap kept insisting that the engine was faulty and "Ab iska engine change karne ka time agaya hai". Ultimately the problem was found to be with the transmission.
Anyway does somebody know a trustworthy transmission specialist in Karachi?
