had hai yaar.... people have soo much extra time to waste while waiting in lines.... Good for Taxi drivers who don't want to earn less profit by driving on Patrol. They will wait all day & nite long, get the CNG filled & will start ripping the public by charging patrol fare. Last nite a Taxi driver asked me Rs.400 for a distance of 11 Km within Islamabad....

I am sure they can earn the same money at the end of the day if they drive all day on Patrol with reasonable rate

Sir I disagree in a very humble way.

Cars in pk is are luxury, not a necessity. Its us who have imprints in mind that its a necessity now. (I am to be included in this category as well). So if one can afford it, only then he should buy it. Go before 1999 when bank leasing was not common, you could see people had care for this life earned possession. Plus they only bought one when they knew their monthly income allowed for it.

CNG although dropped the burden from "THAT" everyday car user. But CNG combined with leasing also allowed many others to enjoy a luxury with negligible dent on the pocket. Anywhere in the world, luxury has a price. And we as a nation are not willing to pay for it.

The reason I say this is not because I can afford petrol. But because i realize that driving on petrol makes me more careful about do's and dont's in everyday commute, meeting freinds, taking out family etc based on my pocket.

Well said, i agree. I think now slowly people will have to revert to other methods such as car-pooling, public transport etc etc. Not everyone can afford petrol, it will force many people to give up their cars.

i cant wait behind three cars at station. these people have extreme level of patience.

better is to get rid of car n buy cycle. our country wastes way too much time standng in lines. this is not making money this is wasting yr life waiting

This is insane :o On the turn i thought it is going to be over but it kept on going, my god people have so much extra time !!!

I counted 315 cars !!! If there are 4 filling points and each cars takes 4 minutes to fill then it will take 315 minutes(5 hours) for the last one to reach at the CNG station.

I understand that taxi drivers and public transporters are not able to cope with petrol but there are Civic,Corolla and several other cars in line too ,if he has money to buy a 1.0 million car he cant buy 1000 rs ?

ONLYFAITH: AGREE.... most of them have may be 1 problem.. i.e sab CNG use krtey hain saving hoti hai.. petrol daaltey he nahi hain... jiski wajah se petrol tank empty hojati hai... aur dust aajata hai,, jis se cars petrol start nahi ho paati tou becharay kya karein... these mehran and hi-roof dont have EFI ENGINE.

I dont understand where the gas is going.The govt have cut off gas for CNG and for factories and in houses the gas isnt coming so where the F**k is all the gas going.

And as for waiting is ques for CNG i wonder how much free time people have.
