Yes, oil is reducing. Petrol average is good.

What's wrong with my Mehro in your opinion @ekdrifter? Is it oil or rings. I used 10W-30 this time. I use 20W-40 usually.

When I rev up the engine in 2nd 3rd gear I hear strange noise from engine bay. It sounds like a steel object is being dragged on road. The noise goes away when I lift the foot from gas pedal is it normal.

Also I am feeling that fuel gauge needles moves very fast from to right of center even after 70 kms.

How many kms you guys usually get in full tank of E2

check gearbox
it might have faulty barrrings in 2nd and 3rd gear
mine had too
if it is under warranty
claim a new Gearbox

We have a Mehran as second car we bought in march 2013 and it has driven only 2,600 kms so far. In couple of months ago I had to replace it's clutch cable and all bushes.

1 which tires u are using profile
2 do u use diesel in service to be sprayed underneath
3 clutch cable can go wrong as there is no lubrication in clutch wire when ever buying a new clutch cable for mehran always ask the mech to lube it put some oil inside the housing
it will stay good for longer

Update: Car felt lot better after tuning, oil change and brake service. Noise disappeared. All jobs done in 3200 rs

Never had diesel sprayed underneath and the car had always been services at Suzuki workshop

My in laws also had a broken cable of a 3,000 kms driven Mehran. Either Suzuki got a faulty consignment or the fact that cars are used rarely in our households (being second cars), the cables may have dried up.

Why so early, wot gone wrong...?

It's Suzuki and its nothing shocking or unexpected from it

well then it is being parked thing as i once pakred my mehran for15 days and when i returned
i faced issues like
1 it won't start
2 clutch felt funny
3 tires went nuts
4 bushings went bad
so it might be not driven at all

I think that non-use caused these issues. Well after tuning (tappets adjustment and plugs cleaning) and oil change the petrol gauge needle had stopped travelling toward E rapidly. It dropped to half mark in 140 kms when the tank was full to brim and needle beyond F.

Today when I was putting some stuff in the trunk from rear seat a plastic screw fell out and when I picked it up it was the seat back release lever. It broke just on the gentle touch of my jacket's cuff.

Any idea from where I can get a new release lever installed and is it available in the market?

what does tuning include that costs 500 @SUZUKI 3s dealerships.....i am guessing inspection(spark plug,air filter) and adjustment (air fuel-mixture)
do note that i am talking about carby one

fuel often spills out while filling in my mehran and the problem is there ever since it was new,anybody else experiencing the same problem

Accelerator cable could be stuck or race increased from throttle stop screw...

its drinking petrol as compare to before

while on idle at signal , the idle noise is also high

Rich fuel will increase race to only to a minor extent, and if you go further rich on fuel car would start loosing power again because petrol density would go out of Upper Combustion Limit...
