There are two ways to program the smart remote.
The first way is to get the car in the key programming mode, once it is in the programming mode it is possible to register a new key as long as you have an original key with you. To get into programming mode the instructions are different for every car. The method is not listed in the user manual so I am guessing it might be listed in the Mira's factory manual. So unless you know the method, you cannot do it yourself.
The second way is to go to a locksmith who has a Daihatsu key programmer. Using the key programmer he can make a duplicate smart remote as long as you have the original one with you.
I talked to a couple of locksmiths, they say the software is not available for this model because it is new. However he did tell me of another method for which they would need to remove the ECU and reprogram it. However I am willing to take that risk.
